Professional Summary

I’m Shannon Faye, a professional psychic medium based in Metro Detroit. I work with experienced clients, and clients that are beginners, spiritually curious, or unsure what to expect from mediumship. My sessions are offered both in person in Michigan and online via Zoom, and they focus on grounded, practical connection, clarity and love.

Mediumship, as I practice it, is about helping people recognize intuition and understand what comes through in a session, with compassion and integrity.

In addition to my client work, I’ve created a small collection of guided journals centered on intuition, reflection, and energetic awareness. They’re meant to support self-trust and clarity through simple, everyday practices.

How my journey began

I am a down-to-earth and light-hearted intuitive practitioner. I am sarcastic and occasionally quite funny. I am team glass is half full. I should also tell you that I was told that I was Royalty in one of my past lives, and I believe that has truly solved the mystery of why I can never finish a load of laundry.

As a medium, I strive to bring accurate, detailed validations and healing messages from your loved ones that have crossed over. These messages come through in a unique way to meet the needs of each individual. This is a practice of deep surrender and vulnerability for both the client and myself, which has been its own adventure as someone who has always enjoyed being right, just ask my husband!

I have always been interested in and curious about the world of spirit and thought everyone else was, too. When I lived in California, I dabbled in meditation, owned my fair share of crystals, took some metaphysical workshops and classes, and dipped my toe into the world of mediumship. After having two children and moving back to the Midwest, I let my mom duties drive the bus and put my love of all things woo-woo on pause. Fast forward a few years and while I was happily working as a real-estate photographer, I would feel the presence of the homeowners who had crossed over which reignited my relationship with spirit. I felt a constant pull to get back to "my roots", and focus my studies on mediumship and intuitive practices.

I have dedicated most of my free time to learning more about and growing these abilities. In addition to one-on-one sessions, I also enjoy helping people better understand their own intuition through education, conversation, and practical tools.

I am certified as an Intuitive Practitioner, having studied with world-renowned Shamanic Medium, Author and Spiritual Teacher Lori Lipten. I have completed several courses through The Arthur Findlay College, the World's Foremost College for the Advancement of Spiritualism and Psychic Sciences. I've also studied with Evidential Mediums Mavis Pittilla, Andy Byng and Suzanne Giesemann and completed mediumship certification through James Van Praagh's School of Mystical Arts. I am constantly learning and researching. I love talking about mediumship and intuition with anyone who is willing to listen.

What to Expect

The process of opening up to my innate gifts, surrendering and learning to be vulnerable in service of spirit, is an ongoing journey for me. My practice is built on authenticity and ethics. I don't believe in forcing a message. If the spirit world isn't stepping forward clearly, I won't pretend it is. My goal is to ensure that every client leaves with clarity, which is why I only charge for sessions where that connection is felt.

Sessions are calm, conversational, and guided in the moment. There’s nothing you need to prepare and no right or wrong way to show up. You don’t need to know what to ask, and you don’t need to share details ahead of time.

I may check in briefly to see if something makes sense, but simple responses are enough. Periods of quiet can happen and are a normal part of the process.

I don’t predict the future or diagnose medical conditions, and there are no guarantees about who or what may come through. My priority is clarity, respect, and creating a grounded experience you can integrate after the session.

If you are nervous, I promise, this won’t hurt a bit. I welcome all newbies! If you are feeling the call, c’mon, jump in -- the water’s just fine. ♡ Shannon
