What should I consider when choosing a medium for a reading?
When choosing a medium, it’s important to look for clarity, transparency, and grounded communication. A reputable medium should be clear about what they do and don’t offer, set realistic expectations, and avoid making guarantees.
You should feel comfortable asking questions and understand how sessions work before booking. Trust is important. A good medium focuses on integrity, respect, and clear boundaries rather than performance or pressure to believe. A reputable medium works with integrity and love. You will FEEL it.
-
What is the typical process for booking a session with a medium?
The booking process varies, but most mediums offer online scheduling through their website. This usually includes selecting a session type, choosing an available date and time, and completing payment in advance.
Some practitioners release availability on a regular schedule rather than keeping an open calendar. After booking, clients typically receive a confirmation email with session details and any instructions needed before the appointment.
-
Are there mediums who offer both individual and group readings?
Yes. Some mediums offer both individual sessions and group readings, depending on their schedule and the type of work they do.
Individual sessions are one-on-one and focused on a single client, while group readings may be offered for small gatherings, workshops, or special events. A gallery reading is a large event (think 100 people). Availability for group readings is often limited and announced separately from individual sessions.
-
How do I prepare for a mediumistic reading to connect with a loved one?
There’s no special preparation required. Many people find it helpful to come in rested, open, and without specific expectations about who may come through.
Creating a quiet, comfortable space and allowing the session to unfold naturally can be more supportive than trying to control the outcome. An open mind and a willingness to listen are often enough.
-
How can I find a reputable medium in the Metro Detroit area?
Start by looking for practitioners who clearly explain how their sessions work, outline their boundaries, and communicate openly about what they offer. Transparency around pricing, scheduling, and expectations is a good sign.
Reviews, referrals, and clear, consistent information are often more reliable than dramatic claims or guarantees. Whether you choose someone locally or online, take your time and trust what feels aligned for you.
A reputable medium is clear about what they offer and what they don’t. They don’t make guarantees, pressure you to book, or claim exclusive access to Spirit.
Most importantly, trust how it feels. You are intuitive. You should never feel rushed, scared, or dependent. A good medium supports your clarity, not your fear, and does not claim to have all the answers.
-
Is it better to do an in-person session or a Zoom session?
In-person and Zoom sessions work equally well. Mediumship isn’t dependent on physical location. The connection is based on energy and awareness, not where we’re sitting, and many people are surprised by how effective Zoom sessions feel.
From a spirit perspective, it doesn’t matter where we meet. What matters most is that you feel comfortable, present, and able to focus during the session.
Trust that the format won’t limit the experience.
Choose the option that feels easiest and most supportive for you.
