Some are people I've personally studied with. Others are simply places I think are worth exploring.
You don't have to believe everything you read or agree with every teacher.
In fact, I hope you ask questions!

I’ve taken multiple mediumship courses with Andy and absolutely love the way he teaches. He’s an internationally known medium and teacher based in the UK & Canada and his approach to mediumship is thoughtful, practical and incredibly helpful. He also teaches retreats in Muskoka, Ontario, which are 100% on my bucket list. One day I’m getting myself there.

The Arthur Findlay College
I lovingly refer to Arthur Findlay College as the real-life Harry Potter school. :) Located in England, it’s dedicated to the study of mediumship, psychic development and spiritualism. I’ve taken courses through the college and highly recommend spending some time here when you feel like getting a real education in Spirit 101.

David Kessler is one of the world’s leading experts on grief and loss, and I really appreciate the way he talks about grief as something we learn to live with, not something we need to “get over.” His books, courses and resources are incredibly helpful for anyone navigating loss or trying to better understand their own grief.

Lori Lipten

Mavis Pittilla
I had the opportunity to study with Mavis Pittilla and Jean Else through an intensive four-month mediumship development program. This wasn't a quick little class. We spent months learning, practicing and really digging into the work. Their teaching helped me better understand the responsibility of mediumship, how to work with Spirit and the importance of developing the connection rather than simply chasing evidence. It was a really valuable part of my mediumship education.
Mavis believed in becoming The Whole Medium not just the mechanical medium. She always said; “If I just train you in the mechanics then I have failed you.”

Rhine Research Center
If you’re curious about the science side of all this weird stuff, check out the Rhine Research Center. They study things like intuition, telepathy, psychic experiences and consciousness using scientific research. I love having resources like this because I’m fascinated by what we experience and what we can actually learn about it through research. Definitely worth exploring if you like asking, “Okay, but what the hell is actually going on here?”

Suzanne Giesemann
Suzanne has an amazing way of making learning how to be a medium seem surprisingly easy. I also love her story and how she came to this work. Definitely check her out.
Suzanne Giesemann is a leading teacher of self-transformation, best-selling author, and award-winning documentarian recognized on Watkins’ list of the 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People. Others on the list include Pope Francis and the Dalai Lama. In 2024, she was awarded the prestigious Humanity’s Team Spiritual Leadership Award, which has only been given 11 times since 2006. Telepathy Tapes
I LOVE this podcast. If you're interested in consciousness, intuition, telepathy and the possibility that we may understand a whole lot less about the human mind than we think we do, this is a fascinating rabbit hole.
The podcast explores reports of telepathic abilities in nonspeaking autistic people and raises some pretty enormous questions about consciousness and communication.
I don't think you have to accept every idea presented as fact to find it fascinating. Listen, ask questions and decide what you think for yourself.
Fair warning: you may lose several hours of your life going down this rabbit hole.

The Shift Network
I've taken courses through The Shift Network and really like it as a place to explore. They offer online classes and workshops on mediumship, intuition, consciousness, spirituality and a whole bunch of other rabbit holes I enjoy going down.
There are a lot of different teachers and perspectives, so I recommend looking around and seeing what interests you.

Windbridge Research Center
If you're curious about mediumship from a research perspective, Windbridge is a fascinating place to explore. They study mediums, after-death communication, consciousness and experiences surrounding death and dying using scientific research methods. I love that there are people seriously studying these experiences and asking questions about things we still don't fully understand.
Definitely worth checking out if you're curious about the research behind mediumship and consciousness.
